Senior Development Lead

As a senior development lead at Bright Wolf, you are responsible for building next-generation industrial IoT solutions for some of the largest companies in the world. We help our Fortune 1000 clients revolutionize their operations and supply chains, creating more value through connected products and enterprise data integrations, including advanced analytics and AI. You are a systems thinker and solver of complex challenges, always seeking new ways to achieve better results for your team and your customers through your leadership abilities and technical strengths.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver robust, scalable, and secure distributed software systems spanning edge and cloud
  • Provide leadership including constructive code reviews and design guidance to team members

Key Qualifications:

Embedded Software Developer, IoT Edge Systems

As an IoT Embedded Software Developer at Bright Wolf you would be working on the Things part of the Internet of Things. You and your peers on the Delivery Team will be bringing the Fortune 1000s’ real-world data into their IoT Systems. Embedded Devices of all shapes and sizes, including PLCs, HMIs, Edge Gateways, and ECMs are arriving at an increasing rate and need someone to integrate, configure and program them. The work will encompass both customer facing services work and internal product development including unboxing and setup of Things, Operating System integration, custom protocol drivers for data ingestion, and embedded algorithms design.

Responsibilities and Qualifications (or equivalent) include:

  • Build and maintain robust, embedded, and secure distributed software systems
  • Build tools and services to increase team productivity and product usability
  • Provide input into detailed designs
  • Experience with Edge Gateway Operating Systems: Linux, Windows IoT Core, Android.
  • Experience with Embedded Programming: C, C++, Java, Python
  • Experience with Industrial Protocols: EtherNet/IP, CAN/J1939, Modbus, OPC-UA
  • Experience with Embedded Debugging: Native debuggers, Wireshark, Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes
  • Familiarity with cloud provider edge offerings such as AWS IoT Greengrass and Azure IoT Edge
  • Familiarity with data modeling, performance monitoring and tuning for constrained environments
  • Familiarity working in the world of industrial automation: PLCs, HMIs, I/O

Development Engineer

DevOps Engineer

The Internet of Things is constantly changing and evolving, and as a DevOps Engineer at Bright Wolf you will be architecting and delivering the systems and tools that run and manage the systems that our Fortune 1000 clients use to derive real business value from the Internet of Things. DevOps Engineers at Bright Wolf are engineers that prefer automation to manual work when possible, and who constantly strive to reduce the complexity and improve the quality of their workflows.

Responsibilities and Qualifications (or equivalent) include:

  • Design, build, maintain and troubleshoot tools/pipelines for building/operating scalable and secure distributed software systems
  • Be passionate and help to improve the availability, performance, scalability and security of the products and systems
  • Operate cloud production systems ensuring a strong focus on monitoring and metrics for analyzing health and usage of features
  • Work closely with product management and application engineers to ensure that the systems are designed to be robust with a focus on high availability
  • Lead the evaluation of new technologies and drive their incorporation into our technology stack
  • Experience with build systems such as Jenkins and Code Pipeline
  • Experience with Ansible or similar system automation / deployment tools
  • Experience with cloud deployment and monitoring methodologies including those from AWS and Azure.
  • Comfort with both Linux and Windows system administration
  • Python experience a plus

Office Manager

As an Office Manager at Bright Wolf you will be a leader for our finance and accounting processes, and serve as HR coordinator for the growing team. As a key support staff member for the organization and our facilities, the successful Office Manager will possess strong attention to detail and will be energized by the range of opportunities for improving company operations.

Responsibilities and Qualifications (or equivalent) include:

  • Accounting experience with Payroll, Accounts Payable, Billing and Accounts Receivable
  • Quickbooks knowledge strongly preferred
  • Expense reporting and coordination with external accountant
  • Human resources exposure to benefits administration, recruitment coordination and new employee onboarding
  • Coordination with external benefits administrators
  • Administrative duties including maintaining records filing systems, managing inbound and outbound mail/shipping and travel booking
  • Special events coordination and preparation for in-office meetings
  • Purchasing office supplies/snacks
  • Coordinating facilities moves as needed to support company expansion
